RULES
-
The Dawdle Launch Challenge is a contest celebrating the release of Dawdle, the app for procrastinators. To mark the launch, we are inviting creators to make TikTok videos about Dawdle. The creator of the video that goes most viral will win $500 USD.
-
This contest is open to people who are at least 18 years of age and have a public TikTok account. No purchase is necessary to enter only the download of the Dawdle app.
-
To enter, you must post an original TikTok video about Dawdle between September 15, 2025 (launch day) and September 22, 2025 at 11:59 PM PT. Your video must include the hashtag #DawdleLaunch, tag @dawdleapp, and contain the words “Contest Entry” in the caption.
You must also be following the @dawdleapp account on tiktok at the time of posting.
Make sure you are registered on the waitlist for the app launch, so that you get first access to the actual app!
Only videos that meet all of these requirements will be considered valid entries. Your TikTok account must also remain public so we can verify your entry.
-
The winner will be determined by TikTok view count. Specifically, the video with the highest verified number of views by September 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM PT will be declared the winner.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected based on engagement rate, which includes the number of likes, comments, and shares relative to views. Dawdle reserves the right to disqualify any entry that uses bots, paid views, or other fraudulent methods to manipulate results.
-
The winner will be announced on October 1, 2025 through Dawdle’s official TikTok account. We will also contact the winner directly via TikTok direct message.
-
One winner will receive $500 USD. The prize will be delivered within 14 days of winner confirmation via PayPal, Venmo, or another agreed-upon method. The winner will be responsible for any applicable taxes on the prize.
-
Videos must be original creations by the entrant and must comply with TikTok’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
Entries may use Dawdle assets such as screenshots, demo clips, or branding, but entrants are also free to create their own original content inspired by Dawdle.
Content that promotes unsafe or dangerous behavior, contains offensive or hateful material, misrepresents Dawdle or its features, or includes copyrighted material without permission will not be accepted.
-
Yes. You retain ownership of your video. However, by entering the contest, you grant Dawdle a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to repost, edit, and use your entry for promotional and marketing purposes across Dawdle’s platforms.
